How can we help promote your event?

Through our email newsletters, community calendar, Voice print newspaper, and standalone emails, we are here to help you make the most of your upcoming events.

Note: All submissions are reviewed by JFSNJ and may not be included if deemed a conflict of interest with another program.

Fed Flash

Fed Flash, powered by The Jewish Community Voice, is the Federation's email newsletter of upcoming events that comes out once a week. This is sent to over 15,000 individuals with each email.

  • JFED agencies can submit an article block, two banner ads, and up to three calendar listings per issue.

  • Other local, Jewish, nonprofit organizations (for example, synagogues and day schools) in Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties may submit two banner ads, and up to three calendar listings per issue.

Outside organizations must have a 501(c)3 certification and be established in the community for a minimum of 6 months before they are eligible to submit to Fed Flash.

DEADLINE:

Every Wednesday at 12pm

"On Behalf of" Standalone Email

"On Behalf of" standalone emails are event-driven emails that go out to the Jewish Federation email list to promote your event. This will go to our list of over 16,000 people and should be used for events that are open to the entire Jewish community.

Each organization is permitted to send one standalone email to our community list per quarter (January - March, April - June, July - September, October - December).

Scheduling emails & submitting content

To maximize the results of your standalone email benefit, it is recommended that you coordinate a send date 2-4 weeks ahead of your event so recipients have time to mark the event on their calendars.

Please email Amanda Michelson at amichelson@jfedsnj.org to schedule your standalone email and to submit content.

You must submit all content for the email at least three business days before the email is scheduled to be sent out. The following content is required:

  • The URL (website link) you wish to drive readers to
  • Email subject line
  • A single, fully designed graphic in JPEG or PNG format (must be 72 ppi, RBG and a file size no larger than 5MB)

Eligibility
Our JFSNJ family of agencies and South Jersey Jewish community nonprofits, including synagogues and day schools in Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties, are eligible. Outside organizations must be established in the community for a minimum of 6 months before they are eligible.
