JFed Behavioral Health Services provides behavioral health support for children, adolescents, and young adults to help them build independence, social skills, and a successful life.

Core Services
We provide, but are not limited to, the following services. Services vary based on the client’s age range.
Therapy and Skills Building
- Behavioral therapy and interventions tailored to each individual
- Interventions designed to decrease maladaptive behaviors and increase communication skills, language development, and functionally appropriate behaviors
- Social skills training and emotional management coaching
- Daily living skills development to increase independence
- Executive functioning support for organization, planning, and problem-solving
- Prevocational and vocational skill building to prepare for future work opportunities
Evaluations
- Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify needs and guide interventions
- Skills assessments: Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP), Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills-revised (ABLLS-R), Assessment of Functional Living Skills (AFLS), and social skills screenings
Social Opportunities
- Social clubs, mentorships, and community engagement opportunities for practicing skills in real-world settings
Parental Guidance
- Parent support and training, including guidance for navigating diagnoses, early intervention, and the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process
Our Credentials & Why We’re Special
Services are delivered by:
- Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) – licensed professionals who design and oversee individualized behavior plans
- Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) – trained professionals who implement behavior plans under BCBA supervision
JFed Behavioral Health Services is an extension of JFSNJ, which is backed by decades of experience in the health care space, including over a decade of home care experience for older adults through Aleph Home Care. Individuals do not need to be Jewish to be clients.
Through JFed Behavioral Health Services, clients have access to a multitude of JFSNJ’s systemwide programs and services that extend far beyond clinical needs, such as:
