JFCS: Job Skills Trainer

Seeking a full time Job Skills Trainer to work in our Project Search Program, located at TD Bank in Mt. Laurel. Project Search is a 1-year transition program which provides training and education to high school students and young adults. The program occurs at a local business facility which serves as the workforce training program for individuals with disabilities. This is a full time 10-month position corresponding with the school calendar, with opportunity to work part-time in July and August. Benefits offered.
Responsibilities include provision of job skills training throughout their internship rotations, collaboration with the other team members and TD Bank staff, assist the classroom teacher with curriculum instruction, provide suggestions for worksite accommodations, monitor progress through daily documentation, and provide travel training when necessary.
Qualifications include: Must be able to work collaboratively as a member of the Project Search team, be highly organized, flexible, good problem solver, good communicator, as well as have an understanding of how to work with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Experience working in the field of special needs required. Associates degree required, Bachelors’ degree preferred in a related field.
