Promote Your Event

Global_Connections

How can we help promote your event?

We are here to help you make the most of your upcoming events! Through our Fed Flash email newsletter, “On behalf of” standalone emails, Jewish Community Voice newspaper, and community calendar, which reach a broader audience than you may be able to reach on your own.

Note: All submissions for our channels are reviewed by JFSNJ staff and subject to not be included if a valid reason is identified.

Fed Flash

Fed Flash, powered by The Jewish Community Voice, is the Federation’s weekly email newsletter of upcoming events sent to over 10,000 individuals. It includes articles, banner ads, and calendar listings.

How To Submit

Subject Line: “Your Organization Name – Fed Flash – XX/XX/24”

The Jewish Federation family of agencies and local, Jewish nonprofit organizations, such as synagogues and day schools, in Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties can submit up to two (2) banner ads and up to three (3) calendar listings per issue.

Each week, submit all content by EOD Wednesday to be included in the Friday issue.

  • Attach your banner ads to your email and type your calendar listings in the body of the email.
  • Include all of your graphics and listings in one email.
  • Late submissions will not be included in Friday’s issue.
  • Banner ads can run for two consecutive weeks at a time.
  • You must submit your ads every week that you want it to run. (No pickups from previous weeks)

You may submit your Fed Flash content in advance. Include the date of the issue in the subject line or body of your email. Note: items submitted that promote an initiative in partnership with the Jewish Federation still count as part of your submissions.

  • Banner ad graphic (600 pixels wide x 275 pixels tall), must include:
  • Name, date, and time of your event

*Outside organizations must have a 501(c)3 certification and be established in the community for a minimum of 6 months before they are eligible to submit to Fed Flash

"On Behalf of" Standalone Email

These emails sent to the Jewish Federation’s email list must be event-driven. This will go to our list of thousands of people and should be used for events that are open to the entire community.

Each organization is permitted to send one standalone email per quarter (January – March, April – June, July – September, October – December).

Scheduling emails & submitting content
To maximize the results of your standalone email benefit, it is recommended to coordinate a send date 2-4 weeks ahead of your event so recipients have time to mark the event on their calendars.

You must submit all content for the email at least three business days before the email is scheduled to be sent out. The following content is required:

  • The URL (website link) you wish to drive readers to
  • Email subject line
  • A single, fully designed graphic in JPEG or PNG format (must be 72 ppi, RGB and a file size no larger than 5MB)

Eligibility
Our JFSNJ family of agencies and South Jersey Jewish community nonprofits, including synagogues and day schools in Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties, are eligible. Outside organizations must be established in the community for a minimum of 6 months before they are eligible.

Please email Amanda Michelson to schedule your standalone email and to submit content.
